Daisy - White Star
The Daisy White Star, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Selections. The White Star exhibits fast growth and is wonderfully floriferous grower for baskets, borders, and landscapes. White Star has a compact, mounding habit. The bright white colored blooms have a very attractive yellow center. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Lantana - Landmark™ Rose Glow . Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. The Rose Glow Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. |
