The False Spirea, 'Sorbaria sorbifolia', also known as Ural False Spirea, produces sprays of beautiful white flowers in late spring and early summer. Ural false spirea is a coarse, suckering, deciduous shrub. The leaves are deep green and quite attractive. Remove root suckers promptly to avoid unwanted spread. Prune in late winter to early spring.
