Hosta - Gold Standard
The Hosta 'Gold Standard', Hosta fortunei, has heart-shaped large broad leaves with creamy yellow and variable dark green margins. The pinkish, lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36-48”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Gold Standard’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Hosta ‘Gold Standard’ was an American Hosta Society multiple winner, and one can see why. Dianthus -Neon Star The Dianthus 'Neon Star', 'Dianthus 'Neon Star', is a new and delightful Dianthus in the Star Series. With its vibrant florescent pink flowers, the blue-gray foliage adds contrast in any perennial garden. 'Neon Star' has a plant height of 6-9" and a spread of 12" and should be planted in full sun.
