Hosta - Guacamole
The Hosta Guacamole, Hosta 'Guacamole', is a medium sized hosta that has yellowish leaves with a wid green margin and stems producing white colored flowers. The white flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Guacamole is no exception. Guacamole needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Geranium - Pink The Geranium ‘Pink’, Geranium sanguineum, has a rich magenta mallow-like flower that blooms from June untill August. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 18-24” and a height of 15”. ‘Pink Geranium’, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well drained site. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is a somewhat attraction to bees and butterflies but it is very disease and deer resistant. |
