The Impatiens Infinity™ Blushing Lilac, 'New Guinea Impatien', displays beautiful violet pink flowers with blushes of red. This Proven Winner plant comes from the renowned breeder Ludwig Kientzler. Shade plants are hard to find and New Guenea Impatiens fill that niche with vibrant beauty. The Infinity series has been bred to be grower friendly with well matched vigorous habits and finishing times. They feature what growers demand: Large flowers, dark green to purple foliage, and beautiful colors. They are great for baskets or even gallon pots and landscapes. The hybrid Cherry Picks offer more uniformity in size than the open pollinated cherry peppers. The peppers can be used green, red, or halfway in between. They are Tobacco Mosaic resistant. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. |
