Nemesia - Safari™ Plum
The Nemesia Safari ™ Plum, 'Nemesia hybrids', was bred in Germany and England. These sweet scented blooms fill the air with their fragrant aroma when the sun hits the flowers. Proven Winners introduces Safari Plum, with it's purple flowers, to join the Nemesia line of old favorites. The Safari Pink scoffs at cold weather and keeps blooming right through frosts in early spring and late fall. They have a compact form with strong upright flowers. They’re superb in planters or baskets where you can catch wind of the refreshing fragrance. This plant is outstanding in hanging baskets, combos, and window boxes. Tomato - Golden Girl The Tomato Golden Girl, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum' produces large yeilds of golden orange fruits that are sweet yet tangy, with a very good flavor. The Golden Girl produces medium sized tomatoes that are slightly flattened in shape. It is highly disease resistant against verticillium, fusarium, mentodes, alternaria, gray leaf spot and resists tobacco mosaic virus. This is a determinate tomato plant. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. |
