Penta - Graffiti® Pink
The Pentas Graffiti® Pink, 'Pentas Ianceolata', produces leaves that are shiny and attractive, making for a great contrast with the colorful, star-shaped blossoms. In fact, the name pentas comes from the Latin word for five because of the five floral petals. Blooms will be produced in abundance all summer long if beds are prepared correctly. Pentas are loved by both butterflies and hummingbirds and fit any style of garden. ... more information
Begonia - Spectrum Takora Yellow The Begonia Spectrum Takora Yellow, 'Begonia x hybrida', are wonderfully floriferous plants that are at home in the garden, or in patio containers. This begonia is a cross between the winter flowering Begonia socotrana, and the summer flowering tuberous types of begonias. The Spectrum Takora Yellow begonias are distinguished by their large, double flowers that are golden yellow in color. These very vigorous Spectrum Begonias are excellent in porch boxes and hanging baskets. In cool or wet climates, consider growing your Spectrum begonias on a patio or in porch boxes. These plants perform best when soil temperatures are above 60°F and when planted in flowerbeds. They should not be subjected to more than ˝ day of sun as they will not tolerate a full sun location. Too much shade however, may cause the plants to become soft and less prolific in bloom. |
