The Phlox Junior Dream, Phlox paniculata 'Junior Dream' (PPAF), has fragrant purple flowers with a darker colored eye on short stems. It is one the Phlox Junior series that contain mildew resistant plants. Blooming all summer long, it has a plant height of 18-22”. As a definite addition to any perennial garden, it attracts butterflies and provides a mainstay of summer color. Junior Dream® needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Scabiosa - Blanca The Scabiosa 'Blanca, Scabiosa Hybrid, is a small flowered form of the Pincushion Flower and it exhibits a a compact habit. 'Blancat' is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 8” and a spread of 12-18", not to mention being disease resistant. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. Noted for very free flowering, butterfly-friendly, and a good cut flower.
